Is built for new French speakers, campers who have taken 1-2 French courses and have an introductory grasp of the language. These campers are working toward holding conversations in French, and are able to say a few sentences in the language. The typical camper may be described as follows:

 

• Able to introduce themselves and say a few sentences in French

• Excited to learn more about the French language and French culture

• Ages 11 and up, including novice speakers up to age 17

Is built for second-language French speakers looking to improve their fluency and practice the language. These campers are able to hold a conversation and write in French, and understand basic grammar rules. The typical camper may be described as follows: 

 

• Comfortable speaking French to others

• Able to write and follow basic grammar rules in writing and speech

• Excited to interact in French and improve their knowledge of the language

• Ages 11 to 17, will be grouped by age if numbers allow
